Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 KR 2008

Under the hood Ford Mustang Shelby GT 500 KR was the same engine 5.4 L DOHC V8, but the power increased to 540 hp at 6,250 rev. / min. and torque to 691 Nm at 4500 rev. / min.

Manual 6-speed Tremec TR6060 transmission remained the same, but the ratio changed to a more aggressive 3.73:1.

To improve handling and compensate for the excessive weight distribution front, the Shelby Mustang GT 500 KR, used a special rod, bar and springs from Ford Racing. Finally, put the carbon fiber hood and redesigned exhaust system, which reduced the weight by 10 kg compared with the standard Shelby GT 500.
