Manual 6-speed Tremec TR6060 transmission remained the same, but the ratio changed to a more aggressive 3.73:1.
To improve handling and compensate for the excessive weight distribution front, the Shelby Mustang GT 500 KR, used a special rod, bar and springs from Ford Racing. Finally, put the carbon fiber hood and redesigned exhaust system, which reduced the weight by 10 kg compared with the standard Shelby GT 500.
